A North Texas couple were the victims of a brutal attack at a\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0game after trying to stop a fight last month.<\/p>\n

Wenceslao Gonzalez, a longtime Cowboys fan, attended a game for the first time on September 22, with his wife and daughter joining him at the AT&T Stadium. His family got him the tickets for his birthday, but it turned out to be a terrible gift as both he and his wife have had to go under the knife since going to support the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never thought I\u2019d be able to attend a game,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Gonzalez said,\u00a0per CBS<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cFor my wife and daughter to be able to do that for me was very special for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The couple said they saw a man screaming at a young woman while leaving the game and tried to intervene.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she was sobbing and she looked scared and she looked very similar to the age of my daughter,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Lindsey Gonzalez said.<\/p>\n
