An\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0player poll\u00a0conducted by\u00a0<\/a>The Athletic revealed the true feelings of players around the league about Taylor Swift\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n A majority of NFL players polled see the press coverage of Taylor Swift\u2019s relationship with\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0as positive for the league.<\/p>\n According to The Athletic\u2019s Mike Jones, 74 of 102 players who answered the question described the attention surrounding her attendance at games as positive. Five were ranked as negative, and 23 gave neutral responses.<\/p>\n One player told The Athletic: \u201cI think it\u2019s been positive for the league. I think that at the end of the day, it\u2019s a business, and you need to get as many eyes on it as possible. And she brings a lot of eyes, so, you know, if that increases the salary cap, I don\u2019t think anybody\u2019s gonna be too mad about that one.\u201d<\/p>\n Another player countered, \u201cI feel like she is getting unnecessary coverage. There was the whole NFL opening season video on Twitter, and she was featured five times, and our quarterback was featured none. That\u2019s not even right. She is not the NFL.\u201d<\/p>\n The NFL loves her so much that they pushed its broadcasting network partners to promote Swift\u2019s movie, \u201cTaylor Swift: The Era Tours,\u201d during the 2023 season.<\/p>\n The players\u2019 overwhelmingly positive vibe about Taylor Swift is much different from how fans react to her online, as there are always constant reactions of negativity about her being shown during broadcasts.<\/p>\n A third anonymous player with a neutral view of the situation: \u201cI\u2019ll jam to some Taylor Swift, but I don\u2019t give a s\u2014 if she\u2019s at the game or not.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor Swift\u2019s attendance at NFL games drew major attention and often resulted in increased interest in the NFL and viewership boosts.<\/p>\n\n
