Kansas City Chiefs head coach\u00a0Andy Reid<\/a>\u00a0had an interesting answer on how his team plans to operate without star wide receiver\u00a0Rashee Rice<\/a>, who suffered a potential season-ending injury in Sunday\u2019s win over the Los Angeles Chargers.<\/p>\n Rashee Rice suffered the knee injury after being accidentally hit by Patrick Mahomes during a tackle attempt following an interception. Rice was quickly ruled out for the game, and soon after, it was reported that the Chiefs feared he suffered a season-ending ACL tear.<\/p>\n Per ESPN\u2019s Adam Teicher, coach Reid told reporters that the Chiefs\u00a0plan to<\/a>\u00a0\u201cspread the ball around\u201d in Rice\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got guys here that have experience of playing in the game. It\u2019s not that he\u2019s the only one, doesn\u2019t have to be the only one. We\u2019ve got a good group of guys there that we can utilize, and we normally spread the ball around and that\u2019s what we\u2019ll continue to strive to do.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Chiefs were dealt a tough blow last month when it was announced that Marquise \u2018Hollywood\u2019 Brown would likely miss the entire 2024 regular season.
