Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0has certainly had a much slower start to the NFL season than in years past, and this is against what most people thought he would be doing. This has caused many people to bash him, and his mother,\u00a0Donna Kelce<\/a>, has had enough.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s tough, it really is,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Donna told\u00a0People Magazine<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cYou know, I don\u2019t think they realize the pressure that people are under, whether they\u2019re athletes or professionals that are in front of the camera. And it\u2019s just very difficult, there\u2019s a lot of things going on behind the scenes,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t realize how many times people are trying to keep you from catching the ball, or trying to trip you up or hit you\u2026 so it\u2019s kinda hard when you\u2019ve got people that are in your face 24\/7<\/em>,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Of course, though, it\u2019s not as if the people saying that Travis has fallen a bit off this year are completely wrong.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s had one of the worst starts to his career through three games, recording just eight receptions on 12 targets for 69 yards and zero touchdowns.<\/p>\n

However, the Chiefs are now set to take on the\u00a0Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday, and L.A. will be without star safety Derwin James, so there\u2019s really an opportunity for Kelce to turn this around very quickly.<\/p>\n

Travis Klece Likely Won\u2019t Restart 1,000 Yard Streak.<\/h2>\n

From 2016 \u2013 2022, Kelce put together one of the most impressive streaks in the NFL. He had seven straight seasons with 1,000 receiving yards.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the most by a tight end in NFL history and was only stopped after he came up 16 yards short in 2023 with 984.<\/p>\n
