NFL<\/a>\u00a0fans had all sorts of interesting reactions after a prominent insider floated a surprise AFC Team as a possible landing spot for\u00a0Bill Belichick<\/a>\u00a0in 2025.<\/p>\n Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots parted ways in January after 23 seasons together, ending an unprecedented run that included nine AFC Championships and six Super Bowl trophies.<\/p>\n Many assumed that Belichick would be the most sought-after free agent in the 2024 NFL head coaching hiring cycle. Surprisingly, the Atlanta Falcons were the\u00a0only team who interviewed<\/a>\u00a0the 72-year-old, and they wound up hiring ex-Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris for the role.<\/p>\n During his appearance on \u201cThe Dan Patrick Show\u201d, Sports Illustrated\u2019s Albert Breer reported that the 0-3\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0are a \u201csneaky\u201d contender to hire Bill Belichick next year:<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re just a sneaky one with Belichick for me.
