Brittney Griner<\/a>\u00a0had fans on social media saying all sorts of things after she revealed what she wanted to be called following the birth of her son.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Phoenix Mercury<\/a>\u00a0center and her wife, Cherelle, have welcomed a baby boy named Bash ahead of her trip to France for the Olympic Games. She made the revelation while speaking to CBS Sports ahead of the\u00a0WNBA<\/a>\u2019s All-Star events on Friday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess I\u2019ll just drop that he\u2019s here,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s my man. He is amazing. They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That\u2019s literally what happened.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Griner\u2019s interviewer referred to her as a mom prior to that, but she was corrected, with the WNBA star letting her know she\u2019s\u00a0\u201cPops.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
