Kirk Cousins and the\u00a0Atlanta Falcons<\/a>\u00a0had a chance to upset the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0at home on Sunday night. They trailed by 5 points with under a minute left in the game, facing a 4th and 1 at the 13-yard-line, with a go-ahead touchdown within reach.<\/p>\n

What they decided to do to try and pick up that first down is receiving a lot of hate on social media.<\/p>\n

Instead of sending all-star RB\u00a0Bijan Robinson<\/a>\u00a0up the middle, or throwing a short pass past the sticks, Atlanta ran a sweep play out to the left that was blown up by Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton, losing several yards on the play. It never had a chance from the very start, and resulted in the Falcons losing, 22-17, and falling to 1-2 on the season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
