In a shocking announcement,\u00a0Adrian Wojnarowski<\/a>\u00a0confirmed his retirement while still being one of the most trusted NBA insiders in the industry. Soon after,\u00a0Adam Schefter<\/a>\u00a0shared a heartfelt message about his colleague, but Bill Simmons mocked him for it.<\/p>\n \u201cHe wanted his life back. He didn\u2019t want to have to work on holidays. He didn\u2019t want to be away from more family gatherings,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Schefter said.<\/p>\n \u201cHe didn\u2019t want to have to\u2026take a shower with your phone up against the shower door so you can see a text that\u2019s coming in, or take your phone with you to the urinal and hold it in one hand while you take care of your business in the other. That\u2019s the life that we live<\/em>,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n Soon after, on his podcast, Simmons called out Schefter for overdramatizing the reactions over Woj\u2019s retirement.<\/p>\n While reading Schefter\u2019s comments, Simmons and his guest can be heard letting out heavy laughs, clearly not agreeing with the severity of what was said.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a real thing Adam Schefter said on television.
