Jason Kelce<\/a>\u00a0has a message for everyone calling his dance moves embarrassing: He knows… and he\u2019s having a great time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Wednesday, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center responded to critics and internet trolls who mocked\u00a0a viral video\u00a0<\/a>that showed him dancing away on a stage prior to his appearance on ESPN\u2019s \u201cMonday Night Countdown.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

While many fans on X, formerly Twitter, celebrated the cheerful video, some users responded with nothing but negativity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The clip attracted a lot of derision from apparently far-right commenters in particular. Kelce\u2019s brother, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, has been the target of right-wing ire over the past year, due in part to Travis\u2019\u00a0endorsement of the Covid-19 vaccine<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0his relationship with pop star<\/a>\u00a0and Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a>\u00a0supporter\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sara Gonzales, a host on the BlazeTV network,\u00a0tweeted:<\/a>\u00a0\u201cCounterpoint: I would be embarrassed to be seen with a grown ass man doing this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But Kelce, who\u2019s married to Kylie Kelce, a head varsity high school field hockey coach, brushed off the slight.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife Kylie says this often,\u201d he\u00a0responded<\/a>. \u201cEmbarrassing her is one of the great joys in my life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kelce had some fun reflecting on his dance moves during Wednesday\u2019s episode of his podcast,\u00a0\u201cNew Heights.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0He explained that he hadn\u2019t planned to break out his moves that day, but that he had to find a way to pass the time before his appearance on \u201cMonday Night Countdown\u201d began.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were supposed to be on that stage to start \u2018Countdown,\u2019 and I walked over there way too early,\u201d he told Travis Kelce, who co-hosts the podcast. \u201cI had to kill 30 minutes before the show started. … I\u2019m like, \u2018I gotta do something.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Travis Kelce was a big fan of his brother\u2019s moves. As he played the clip of Jason Kelce dancing, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end\u00a0laughed uncontrollably<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so proud, I was so proud,\u201d Travis Kelce said, adding, \u201cYou can put a smile on anybody\u2019s face by dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cDo you know how devastating it is to open X and just see a bunch of people quoting tweets of you dancing and putting clown emojis above you?\u201d Jason Kelce asked, while laughing.<\/p>\n
