After the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on September 10, 34-year-old pop star Taylor Swift posted a statement of support for Ms. Harris on her Instagram account with 283 million followers, along with a photo of the singer holding a cat and signing it \u201cChildless Cat Lady\u201d.<\/p>\n

The photo and signature were meant to mock the controversial statement of Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance in 2021, saying that \u201cchildless cat ladies\u201d are making the country miserable. \u201cCat ladies\u201d is slang in the US, used to mock older women without children, who only like to live with cats and are moody.<\/p>\n

Billionaire Elon Musk, a Trump supporter, posted a sarcastic post about Taylor Swift on September 11. \u201cOkay Taylor, you win, I\u2019ll give you a child and protect your cat with my life,\u201d Musk wrote on his X account, which has 197 million followers.<\/p>\n

In the comments section, many people attacked Musk, saying he was disrespectful to women, acting strangely and not being serious.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, one account responded to Musk by posting a chart showing that the number of unmarried Democratic women was much higher than that of Republican women. The billionaire responded by posting a \u201c100\u201d emoji, expressing his praise.<\/p>\n

Elon Musk has publicly expressed his support for Trump since the former president\u2019s assassination attempt in Pennsylvania in July, and has donated money to Trump\u2019s campaign. Musk was previously said to be supporting Biden in the 2020 election.<\/p>\n
