ESPN NFL analyst and\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0legend\u00a0Troy Aikman<\/a>\u00a0recently opened up on a personal life hardship that led to him hitting \u201crock bottom.\u201d<\/p>\n Troy Aikman and longtime TV partner\u00a0Joe Buck<\/a>\u00a0have kicked off their third season with ESPN together, calling the New York Jets-San Francisco 49ers \u201cMonday Night Football\u201d game at Levi\u2019s Stadium.<\/p>\n Compared to most other NFL greats and popular sports media personalities, Aikman isn\u2019t usually one to discuss his personal life. But during a\u00a0recent interview<\/a>\u00a0with Zak Keefer of The Athletic, the three-time Super Bowl champion admitted that he hit \u201crock bottom\u201d during his second marriage<\/p>\n \u201cA failure. That was my rock bottom. For me, contentment was always a four-letter word. I never wanted to be content. I didn\u2019t wanna be around anyone who was content. That\u2019s just not a place I could land.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Troy Aikman was first married to Rhonda Worthey, a former team publicist, from 2000 to 2011. They had two daughters together, and Worthey has another daughter from a previous marriage.<\/p>\n The 57-year-old Aikman married his second wife, Catherine \u201cCapa\u201d Mooty, in Sept. 2017.
