The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0will be without Marquise Brown for at least four games following a concerning injury update to the star wide receiver.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport, Marquise Brown\u00a0needs surgery<\/a>\u00a0on his injured shoulder and will be placed on the injured reserve. This means the 27-year-old will miss at least four games.<\/p>\n

Kansas City signed Brown to a one-year deal in free agency following a two-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals. The 2019 first-round pick missed the Chiefs\u2019 season opener (a 27-20 victory) over the Baltimore Ravens, so his highly-anticipated Kansas City debut will have to wait even longer.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs next four games are against the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints. They have a bye in Week 6 before traveling to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in a Super Bowl 58 rematch.<\/p>\n
