The Dolphins quickly ruled him out for the game with a concussion, and Skylar Thompson was forced to finish the contest (a 31-10 Bills victory).<\/p>\n<p>With Tua Tagovailoa suffering another He suffered three concussions in the 2022 season alone and missed four regular season games plus the team\u2019s Wild Card Round loss to the Bills.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-dolphins-need-to-find-another-qb-behind-tua-tagovailoa\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dolphins Need To Find Another QB Behind Tua Tagovailoa<\/h2>\n<p>Skylar Thompson showed once again in Thursday\u2019s loss to the Bills that he carries limited upside and can\u2019t be trusted to save a team if the occasion calls for it. He\u2019s better served as a third-string quarterback, and the Dolphins have to find a better second-stringer as insurance behind Tagovailoa.<\/p>\n<p>Tannehill makes perfect sense given his playing experience and familiarity with the Dolphins.
