Green Bay Packers head coach\u00a0Matt LaFleur<\/a>\u00a0provided a stunning injury update on quarterback\u00a0Jordan Love<\/a>\u00a0ahead of Sunday\u2019s home opener against the Indianapolis Colts.<\/p>\n Jordan Love was injured during the waning seconds of the Packers\u2019 loss to the Philadelphia in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil last Friday after being hit by Jalen Carter and Josh Sweat. Love was diagnosed with a sprained MCL and was initially expected to miss multiple weeks.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth noting that the Packers did not place Love on the injured reserve, which would have forced him to miss at least four games. So that suggests the Packers are confident he\u2019ll be back within three weeks.<\/p>\n LaFleur dropped an enticing hint that Jordan Love\u00a0might actually suit up\u00a0<\/a>at Lambeau Field on Sunday, per The Athletic\u2019s Matt Schneidman. Kickoff for the Packers\u2019 home opener is set for 1:00 p.m. EST.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d say it\u2019s pretty open (the possibility of Love playing)\u2026but at the same time, he\u2019s gotta be cleared,\u201d LaFleur said, per Schneidman.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old Jordan Love completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 260 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the 34-29 loss.
