The Miami Police Department seemingly threw shade at\u00a0Miami Dolphins<\/a>\u00a0wide receiver\u00a0Tyreek Hill<\/a>, two days after his widely-publicized detainment controversy.<\/p>\n Officers of the Miami-Dade Police Department detained Tyreek Hill during his commute to the Dolphins\u2019 Week 1 opener against the\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday morning because of a traffic violation. Police bodycam footage and witness videos showed officers forcing Hill out of his car before handcuffing and slamming him to the ground.<\/p>\n The officers also handcuffed Dolphins defensive tackle Calais Campbell, who was trying to de-escalate the situation. The officers on the scene have received widespread criticism for their aggressive antics and behavior toward Hill and Campbell.<\/p>\n Amid the backlash toward the Miami-Dade PD, the Miami Police Department\u2019s X\/Twitter account posted a tweet that warned citizens about the dangers of speeding.
