Tyreek Hill spoke out extensively on Monday about his detainment by Miami-Dade Police before Sunday\u2019s Dolphins\u2019 win over the Jaguars at Hard Rock Stadium.<\/p>\n

Hill was detained after being pulled over by police just outside the stadium and cited for careless driving and a seat belt violation, according to ESPN, before being released at the scene.<\/p>\n

In his first in-depth interview,\u00a0he told NBC News\u00a0<\/a>that the situation \u201cwent from 0 to 60.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview was published online shortly before\u00a0Miami-Dade Police released over 105 minutes of body camera footage\u00a0<\/a>connected to the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just went from 0 to 60, man, from the moment that those guys pulled up behind me, knocked on my window, it went from 0 to 60 immediately,\u201d Hill told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Hill had expressed concern over what could have happened if he wasn\u2019t a well-known football player and reiterated that during the sit-down with NBC News.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I wasn\u2019t Tyreek Hill, Lord knows, I probably would have been, like, worst-case scenario, I would have been shot or would have been locked up\u201d and \u201cput behind bars, you know, for a simple speeding ticket,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s crazy that officers would take it, you know, to that level.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to body camera footage from the scene, at least one officer was unaware of who they had pulled over and detained.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know who that is?\u201d one officer asked another seen in one part of the released footage.<\/p>\n
