Shaboozey<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0expressed his gratitude for\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and hailed\u00a0COWBOY CARTER\u00a0<\/em>\u201cone of the most innovative country albums of all time,\u201d after receiving his two nominations at the 58th CMA Awards.\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9 and her historic country record, however, did not appear<\/a>\u00a0on the list of nominees revealed on Monday morning (September 9).<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9 featured several artists on\u00a0COWBOY CARTER\u00a0<\/em>tracks, including highly-respected country legends and rising artists. Shaboozey is one of the artists to appear on Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s album, along with\u00a0Dolly Parton<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Willie Nelson<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Brittney Spencer<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Tiera Kennedy<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Tanner Adell<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Reyna Roberts<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Linda Martell<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Willie Jones<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Post Malone<\/strong><\/a>, who received a few nods for his own country music he released this year.\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9 was one of several major artists whose name did not appear<\/a>\u00a0on the list of nominations announced by the Country Music Association on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat goes without saying. Thank you [Beyonc\u00e9] for opening a door for us, starting a conversation, and giving us one of the most innovative country albums of all time!\u201d Shaboozey wrote on his Instagram story set to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u201c16 Carriages.\u201d He shared\u00a0COWBOY CARTER<\/em>\u2019s album artwork that\u00a0he posted<\/a>\u00a0when the album arrived in March. Shaboozey said at that time that he\u2019s \u201chonored to be in the company of two historically significant black voices,\u201d referring to Beyonc\u00e9 and Martell. \u201cThank you for always being the one to step up and kick in a door when others are afraid to. Texas born & raised, worked hard for yours. You are country. Put her in the Grand Ol\u2019 Opry NOW! Love you!\ud83d\udda4\ud83e\udd20\ud83d\udc10\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaboozey is nominated in the New Artist of the Year category and the Single of the Year category for \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy).\u201d The Country Music Association will announce additional information \u2014 including performers, hosts and presenters \u2014 at a later date.\u00a0See the full list of nominees here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 58th CMA Awards will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The show is set for Wednesday, November 20.
