Drew Rosenhaus<\/a>, the agent of Miami Dolphins star wide receiver\u00a0Tyreek Hill<\/a>, called out the Miami-Dade police officers who detained his client in a scathing rant.<\/p>\n On Sunday morning, Tyreek Hill was pulled over and detained by police officers for a traffic violation. Police bodycam video and witness footage shows officers acting unnecessarily aggressively toward Hill, having slammed him to the ground despite his calm demeanor.<\/p>\n Hill\u2019s teammate, defensive tackle Calais Campbell, was also handcuffed by officers when he tried to de-escalate the situation. Both were eventually let go and got to Hard Rock Stadium in plenty of time for the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.<\/p>\n During his appearance on the \u201cDan Le Batard Show\u201d, Drew Rosenhaus criticized the officers\u2019 actions and\u00a0called for them to be fired<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, personally, I think the police officers that did that to Tyreek shouldn\u2019t be in that position. They should be let go. Look at \u2014 the guy who just kicked him right there. That guy should be fired. That\u2019s out of control.<\/p>\n The guy that jumped in [and] put him in a chokehold? There\u2019s no place for a police officer to have a badge that operates like that when Tyreek wasn\u2019t being aggressive or violent or fighting back in any capacity. That was horrendous how they treated him. They didn\u2019t treat him like a human being.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n “I think the police officers that did that to Tyreek shouldn’t be in that position.
