Matthew Stafford<\/a>\u2019s string of bad luck at Ford Field continued on Sunday as the\u00a0Detroit Lions<\/a>\u00a0defeated the Los Angeles Rams in overtime.<\/p>\n

The Rams were hoping to exact some revenge against the team that ended their season in the playoffs just a few months ago.<\/p>\n

In his latest return to the stadium where he spent 12 seasons as the face of the Detroit Lions, Matthew Stafford fell in a heartbreaker but had to deal with much more than just starting the season off with a loss.<\/p>\n

Heading into the game, Stafford shared his anticipation for the Lions fanbase.<\/p>\n

\u201c(The atmosphere) was good,\u201d Stafford told reporters. \u201cI thought it was a fun place to play. The crowd was into it. Obviously, a great football game helps make the crowd get into it \u2014 back and forth all day.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if he has gotten over being booed by the Lions fanbase and the Goff chants, Matthew Stafford simply replied, \u201cI am, yeah. I\u2019m fine.\u201d<\/p>\n
