Their rivalry began way-back-when in 1898 and gradually grew into one of the most heated in college football.<\/p>\n<p>Entering Saturday\u2019s game, the Buffaloes had won the previous three meetings. But as the schedule got more difficult, the Buffs came back to earth and lost eight of their final nine games to finish 4-8.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, there was a lot to like about the first year of the Deion-Shedeur Sanders era. The school generated millions more in revenue (the \u201cPrime Time effect\u201d) and still quadrupled their win total from 2022.<\/p>\n<p>After visiting the Cornhuskers, the Buffaloes will continue their mini road trip with a showdown in Colorado State next Saturday. As for Nebraska, they\u2019ll stay home before welcoming Northern Iowa on Saturday as well.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-shedeur-sanders-is-a-top-2025-nfl-draft-qb-prospect\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shedeur Sanders Is A Top 2025 NFL Draft QB Prospect<\/h2>\n<p>A lot can change between now and the end of the\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/ncaa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCAA<\/a>\u00a0football season, but Shedeur is currently one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2025\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/tag\/nfl-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NFL Draft<\/a>.
