He was hit by Josh Sweat and Jalen Carter after delivering a pass to\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/tag\/josh-jacobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Josh Jacobs<\/a>, forcing Malik Willis to run the last two plays.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/nfl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NFL<\/a>\u00a0Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport, further tests\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/rapsheet\/status\/1832503309200228708?s=46&amp;t=sN-eGz0KUlD-HBCcbDeG7w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">showed that<\/a>\u00a0Love has an MCL sprain and no ACL damage. It\u2019s not a season-ending injury, but Rapoport added that the fifth-year quarterback \u201cshould miss some time.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This is very good news, considering the various possibilities. At any rate, the Packers avoided the worst-case scenario and will hopefully have Jordan Love back in short time.<\/p>\n<p>Willis was sacked on the game\u2019s final play before he could attempt a Hail Mary, securing the Eagles\u2019 34-29 victory. Willis is the only other quarterback on Green Bay\u2019s depth chart, having come over via trade with the Tennessee Titans before the roster cut deadline.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers return home next Sunday to host Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field next Sunday.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-jordan-love-is-looking-to-build-off-breakout-year\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jordan Love Is Looking To Build Off Breakout Year<\/h2>\n<p>Love was awarded a four-year contract extension worth $220 million following his breakout season in 2023. The 2020 first-round pick completed 64.2 percent of pass attempts for 4,159 yards and, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Expectations are much higher for the Packers this season after stunning the league with a playoff appearance and blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round last year.
