A forgotten moment in an eventful NFL season opener between the\u00a0Baltimore Ravens<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0occurred early in the fourth quarter when Patrick Mahomes was running to the sidelines and was hit by Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith.<\/p>\n

As Mahomes ran out of bounds on third-and-3, which resulted in a first down, the Ravens linebacker contacted him, and he went down to the ground. However, no penalty was thrown.<\/p>\n

Footage from the play showed somebody not in uniform taking took exception to the contact and shoved Roquan Smith from behind, leading to a small skirmish.<\/p>\n

Something similar happened last year when Big Dom from the Eagles found himself suspended after the Week 13 loss to the\u00a0San Francisco 49ers<\/a>, where DiSandro found himself in the spotlight for his quick physical altercation with Niners linebacker Dre Greenlaw on the Philly sideline.<\/p>\n
