The\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0have left the United States for Brazil. The team is scheduled to play the Green Bay Packers on Friday night in what will mark the\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u2019s first game in the South American country.<\/p>\n

The league is keen on growing its brand internationally and, as such, will be hosting games in new territories, with Brazil the latest.<\/p>\n

While the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will open curtains on the new NFL season this Thursday, the Eagles and Packers will be involved in a rare Friday night game on unfamiliar grounds.<\/p>\n

An\u00a0in-flight photo<\/a>\u00a0showing the team heading to said country is doing the rounds online, along with claims that players have been instructed not to sleep on the nine-hour trip.<\/p>\n

The photo also shows a certain player\u2019s phone, and he appears to be checking on a Caleb Williams update. The\u00a0Chicago Bears<\/a>\u00a0quarterback was named a team captain this week, so it could be what the post was about, but whoever it is was keen on staying abreast.<\/p>\n
