With 3:52 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter and the Fever holding a 96-71 advantage, Clark got a pass off a steal from Aliyah Boston. Clark or her teammate better swing on someone to get this shit to stop,\u201d\u00a0one fan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>One fan compared that play to a football tackle.<\/p>\n<p>Clark had the last laugh over DeShields, as the Fever dominated the game securing the win and the regular-season series over the Sky, who lost their fifth consecutive game.<\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Clark went off against Diamond DeShields, Chicago Sky<\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Clark came off a 19-point performance against the Connecticut Sun to beat that team for the first time this season. The\u00a0WNBA\u00a0star rookie picked up from where she left off and raised the bar against the Sky,\u00a0going for a season-high 31 points on 8-of-14 from the field and 5-of-9 from distance.<\/p>\n<p>She only missed one of her 11 free-throw attempts, grabbed four rebounds, dished 12 assists and turned the ball over just three times.<\/p>\n<p>It was a pretty efficient game for Clark, who couldn\u2019t be stopped by DeShields or whoever Teresa Weatherspoon put on her. The Fever got the 100-81 win to reach the .500 mark with a 16-16 record.<\/p>\n<p>This team\u2019s turnaround after a shaky start is nothing short of remarkable.
