After three years on the road, Adele announced that she plans to take a long break from music and performing after her Las Vegas residency ends this fall.<\/p>\n

From hello to goodbye.<\/p>\n

Adele<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is taking a lengthy break from her music career. The 36-year-old shared her decision on stage at her concert in Munich, Germany on Aug. 31, telling the crowd that once she\u2019s done with her Las Vegas residency shows, she plans to step away from the stage.<\/p>\n

“I’ve really enjoyed performing,\u201d the \u201cEasy on Me\u201d singer said in a moment captured on\u00a0TikTok<\/a>. \u201cIt’s been three years now, which is the longest I’ve done and probably the longest I’ll ever do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that she\u2019s got 10 shows left in her Vegas residency after missing several due to illness, the fifteen-time Grammy winner continued, \u201cBut after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break.\u201d<\/p>\n

Expressing her gratitude, Adele added that she will \u201cfantasize\u201d about her time on stage amid her hiatus, adding, \u201cI just need a rest.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

As for what she plans to do during her time off, the emotional British singer said, “I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I’ve been building, and I will miss you terribly.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Some of the life Adele referenced likely has to do with\u00a0her fianc\u00e9,\u00a0Rich Paul<\/strong><\/a>. Earlier this month, the \u201cRolling in the Deep\u201d performer confirmed that she and the sports agent, who went public with their romance in 2021, are\u00a0engaged<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adele\u2014mom to 11-year-old son\u00a0Angelo<\/strong>\u00a0with ex-husband\u00a0Simon Konecki<\/strong>\u2014confirmed the engagement news during another Munich concert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

In footage posted on social media Aug. 9, Adele was heard telling a fan that she can’t marry them because she’s “already getting married,” holding up her hand to signal an engagement as the crowd cheered.<\/p>\n

E! News has reached out to Adele’s rep for comment and has not heard back.<\/p>\n

And Adele has opened up in the past about her interest in expanding her family.<\/p>\n

“I definitely would like a couple more kids,”\u00a0she told\u00a0BBC Radio 4’s\u00a0Desert Island Discs<\/em>\u00a0in July 2022<\/a>. “It would be wonderful. If not, I’ve got Angelo.”<\/p>\n
