The former Florida pass-catcher was shot in a robbery attempt in the Union Square area, with his assailant understood to have been after his Rolex watch.<\/p>\n

The Niners\u00a0posted a statement on social media noting the player was in\u00a0\u201cserious but stable condition<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0His mother has since provided an update, revealing Pearsall was recovering well and in good spirits.<\/p>\n
