Chase has been eligible for a new deal since the start of the offseason, though he\u2019s still under contract through 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Cincinnati obviously prefers to keep Chase long-term, but de facto GM Duke Tobin and owner Mike Brown may have no choice but to deal the All-Pro wide receiver if they can\u2019t make progress on extension talks.<\/p>\n<p>Bleacher Report\u2019s Alex Kay proposed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/10132492-4-nfl-trade-packages-the-bengals-would-have-to-consider-for-jamarr-chase\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four blockbuster trade packages<\/a>\u00a0for Chase. One of those ideas would see the Bengals stun the NFL by sending him to the AFC North rival\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/nfl\/pittsburgh-steelers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>\u00a0in exchange for 2025 first, third and fourth-round picks:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIf the Steelers are serious about augmenting Russell Wilson, George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth with a top-flight wideout, they shouldn\u2019t hesitate to offer a package to Cincinnati headlined by a first-round pick along with some mid-round selections.<\/p>\n<p>Chase has earned that value after three consecutively strong seasons to open his NFL career. Ja\u2019Marr Chase, a top-five receiver in the game, would certainly fill that void and make the Steelers a legitimate Super Bowl contender.<\/p>\n<p>In 16 games last season, Chase caught 100 passes (a personal best) for 1,216 yards and seven touchdowns.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-bengals-will-likely-pay-ja-marr-chase\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bengals Will Likely Pay Ja\u2019Marr Chase<\/h2>\n<p>Though Mike Brown has a reputation for being cheap compared to most other NFL owners, he had no issue paying Joe Burrow top dollar last year. So it\u2019s likely only a matter of time until Brown and Chase reach an agreement on a new deal.<\/p>\n<div id=\"incontent-ad-3\" class=\"pw-incontent\" data-label=\"Advertisement\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"pw-ad-scroll-container pw-clearfix pw-hide-in-content-out-of-view\" data-pw-in-article=\"true\">\n<div class=\"pw-ad-container-logo\">Cincinnati seems poised to move on from fellow star wideout Tee Higgins (he\u2019s playing 2024 under the franchise tag) next year.
