A football player on the Colorado Buffaloes roster might be in some trouble with\u00a0Caitlin Clark<\/a>\u2019s boyfriend after shooting his shot at the\u00a0Indiana Fever<\/a>\u00a0star with scant regard for the fact that she\u2019s taken.<\/p>\n

Clark, who was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in April, is one of the most popular athletes in the United States. That was already the case while she was in college as she toppled some impressive records, including scoring the most points ever for both men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball.<\/p>\n

The guard is known to be dating former Iowa basketball player\u00a0Connor McCaffery<\/a>, who now works for the Indiana Pacers. They have been together for over a year and celebrated their 12-month anniversary in April.<\/p>\n

None of that seemed to matter to a certain CU player, however, as he made a pass at Clark in a video in which he asked her to give him a call.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re back with the word of the day again?\u201d\u00a0<\/em>he\u2019s heard asking the Buffs video personnel\u00a0in the clip<\/a>\u00a0below.<\/p>\n
