Kyle Busch shared some upsetting words after his final NASCAR victory just days before\u00a0his unexpected death at 41 years old\u00a0on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Moments after winning the Ecosave 200 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Denver Motor Speedway on Friday, Busch shared a heartfelt statement on why winning races never got old for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou never know when the last one is,\u201d Busch said of his 69th truck race victory in a sideline interview following the race. \u201cI know all too well, unfortunately, with the Cup stuff, but here with the Truck stuff now, it\u2019s awesome to be part of Spire Motorsports.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure it looked great out front, leading the race,\u201d he added. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t just Kyle Larson doing it. Feels good to have another Kyle able to do it and put ourselves in Victory Lane. Love coming to Dover, always one of my favorite places to race.\u201d<\/p>\n

The truck race served as Busch\u2019s final victory before his death, as he finished 17th in the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race on May 17.<\/p>\n
NASCAR announced Busch\u2019s death Thursday afternoon after he was\u00a0hospitalized with a severe illness this week.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport\u2019s greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old,\u201d\u00a0NASCAR said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cWe extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Busch was pulled from the Coca-Cola 600 field Thursday morning, with a statement from his family saying he was hospitalized.<\/p>\n
\u201cKyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization,\u201d the statement read. \u201cHe is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
The exact cause of Busch\u2019s death remains unknown, but he was dealing with a sinus issue less than two weeks before his death, requesting medical attention during the final moments at Watkins Glen International on May 10.<\/p>\n
\u201cCan somebody try to find Bill Heisel? He\u2019s the kindred doctor guy. Tell him I need him after the race, please,\u201d Busch said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m gonna need a shot,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
On May 16, Busch told reporters that his illness was still lingering.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m still not great,\u201d he said when asked if he was feeling better. \u201cThe cough was pretty substantial last week.\u201d<\/p>\n
