A spokesperson from BigWantsYourCar.com said: \u201cA fogged-up windscreen might not seem serious, but legally, any obstruction to your view of the road is enough to land you with a fine.<\/p>\n

The Highway Code makes it clear that windscreens and front windows must be kept clean and free from obstructions at all times.<\/p>\n

Driving without a clear view of the road ahead could result in a \u00a31,000 fine and three penalty points.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said: \u201cA microfibre cloth costs a few pounds but could save you thousands in the long run.<\/p>\n
