Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0has hit back at\u00a0Donald Trump<\/span>\u2018s apparent\u00a0acceptance of her \u2018support\u2019<\/span>\u00a0in his race for the\u00a0White House<\/span>, with insiders claiming she believes the Republican has \u2018lost it.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Presidential candidate, 78, shared AI-generated posts on his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday night suggesting he has gained the support of the Grammy-winner, 34, and her fans, known as \u2018Swifties.\u2019<\/p>\n

Trump wrote \u2018I accept\u2019 alongside\u00a0deepfake<\/span>\u00a0images showing women wearing shirts emblazoned with \u2018Swifties For Trump,\u2019 as well as a poster of the singer dressed like Uncle Sam and urging her fans to vote for the\u00a0GOP<\/span>\u00a0nominee.<\/p>\n

Although she has yet to publicly endorse a candidate ahead of this year\u2019s\u00a0election<\/span>, a source close to Swift confirmed, unsurprisingly, that she will not be supporting Trump.<\/p>\n

\u2018If she didn\u2019t support him last time, she\u2019s not going to support him now,\u2019 they told DailyMail.com exclusively. \u2018He\u2019s clearly lost it. In more ways than one.\u2019<\/p>\n

Trump, 78, shared AI-generated posts on his Truth Social platform on Sunday night suggesting he has gained the support of Swift, 34, and her fans, known as \u2018Swifties\u2019<\/p>\n

It is unclear if Trump\u2019s comment is referring to the AI-generated crowd of \u2018Swifties\u2019 or the fake endorsement from Swift.<\/p>\n

Two of the photos in Trump\u2019s post are reportedly legitimate, Wisconsin Right Now reported<\/p>\n

Jenna Piwowarczyk, a 19-year-old Trump supporter who is also a fan of the singer, did allegedly wear a \u2018Swifties for Trump\u2019 t-shirt during a campaign rally in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

However, there does not actually appear to be a huge \u2018Swifties for Trump\u2019 following, as depicted in the AI-generated photos, which were clearly labelled \u2018satire.\u2019<\/p>\n

Trump later doubled down on the claim that he was gaining the support of Swifties, sharing a video of an apparent MAGA fan saying the \u2018Swifties were waking up\u2019 after a failed terror plot resulted in the cancellation of the Austrian leg of the Eras Tour. It is unclear if the video is authentic.<\/p>\n

Swift has previously criticized the GOP nominee and vowed to \u2018vote [him] out\u2019 ahead of the 2020 election after being left \u2018completely blindsided\u2019 by his 2016 victory.<\/p>\n

Ahead of his defeat of\u00a0Hillary Clinton<\/span>, Swift kept quiet on her political leanings leading some to suspect she was actually a secret Republican.<\/p>\n

But during the 2018 midterms, she voiced strong support for Tennessee Democrats including Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper.<\/p>\n

\u2018I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.\u2019<\/p>\n

In 2020, the Blank Space singer came out in full support of\u00a0Joe Biden<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2018I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year\u2019s presidential election,\u2019 she said. \u2018Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,\u2019 she said in an interview with V Magazine ahead of the election.\u2019<\/p>\n

She also tagged Trump in an X post blasting him: \u2018After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? \u2018When the looting starts the shooting starts\u2019??? We will vote you out in November.\u2019<\/p>\n

In her documentary, Miss Americana, which came out in 2020, Swift addressed her decision to speak publicly about politics further saying: \u2018I need to be on the right side of history.\u2019<\/p>\n

Swift has been a close ally of the LGBTQ community. She also slammed the United States Supreme Court after it overturned Roe v Wade ending the constitutional right to an abortion in 2022.<\/p>\n

The Anti-Hero hitmaker is suspected to be among the Hollywood A-listers who could appear at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago this week,\u00a0CNN<\/span>\u00a0reported, with rumors she could also perform.<\/p>\n

The New York Times reported earlier this year that Joe Biden\u2019s campaign had been actively seeking Swift\u2019s endorsement.<\/p>\n

Trump has previously questioned whether Swift is \u2018legitimately liberal\u2019 or if it\u2019s all an act.<\/p>\n

The former president discussed the megastar in an interview with Variety co-Editor-in-Chief Ramin Setoodeh for his book Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass which was released in June.<\/p>\n
