The Kansas City Chiefs have released a picture of Travis Kelce working out in what could be his final practice in the NFL.<\/p>\n

Speculation that Kelce could be poised to walk away from football after 13 seasons in the NFL has ramped up ever since it was confirmed the Chiefs could not make the playoffs.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old tight end will play his final game of the season on Sunday when the Chiefs travel to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in a dead rubber. And Kelce was pictured fine tuning his game on Friday as Andy Reid\u2019s team finalized their preparations before leaving for Sin City.<\/p>\n

The picture showed Kelce seemingly poised to score a touchdown with the veteran about to catch a pass just yards from the end zone.<\/p>\n

Kelce has spent his entire career with the Chiefs after being drafted in 2013, winning three Super Bowls and establishing himself as one of the best tight ends in the history of the game.<\/p>\n

Kelce has enjoyed an impressive individual season with 839 yards to his name and five touchdowns, even while the Chiefs have imploded and failed to make the playoffs.<\/p>\n

But the 36-year-old\u2019s Chiefs contract expires at the end of the season and many believe he won\u2019t be signing a new one. Instead, many expect he will use that as the time to bring the curtain down on his career and ride off into the sunset with fiancee Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

The pair are reportedly set to tie the knot on June 13 at the luxurious Ocean House in Rhode Island, close to Swift\u2019s property in the north-east of America. Perhaps Swift will give the clearest indication yet of her future husband\u2019s plans this weekend.<\/p>\n

Swift hasn\u2019t been to a road game since the Chiefs won in the playoffs at Buffalo Bills in January 2024. If she has made the trip for a dead rubber game in Las Vegas, it would surely only be because it is the last time Kelce will be on the field.<\/p>\n

Kelce has kept his cards close to his chest about what the future holds, insisting he will reach a decision once the season is over and he has had time to hold talks with Chiefs, as well as his friends and family. But he has said before that he won\u2019t play for any other team in the NFL than the Chiefs.<\/p>\n

Kelce looked on the brink of retiring after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans back in February but ultimately decided he didn\u2019t want to quit the game on such a low note.<\/p>\n

In an emotionally-charged interview with fellow franchise legend Tony Gonzalez on Christmas Day, Kelce spoke out on the retirement rumors. \u2018I think I\u2019m still searching for those answers,\u2019 Kelce said when pressed on his looming decision.<\/p>\n

\u2018Obviously the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated but I\u2019ve got to make the right decision for myself.\u2019 However, the three-time Super Bowl winner didn\u2019t fully close the door on the possibility of returning for one more season.<\/p>\n

\u2018Just the fact that when I know it\u2019s over, it\u2019s over,\u2019 he added when Gonzalez questioned what he would be returning for.<\/p>\n

\u2018I still have a lot of love for this game. If I came back it would be just to answer that flame in my heart for this thing.\u2019<\/p>\n
