Yet another strange twist has emerged in the\u00a0Brandon Aiyuk<\/a>\u00a0trade saga amid rumors that the\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>\u00a0are trying to finalize a deal for the San Francisco 49ers superstar.<\/p>\n

Last month, Brandon Aiyuk requested a trade from the 49ers after months of unproductive contract extension talks. The 26-year-old star is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal.<\/p>\n

NFL Network\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Ian Rapoport reported last week that the Steelers and 49ers had a deal in place if San Francisco signed off on it. Rapoport also said Pittsburgh was \u201cin a good place\u201d to extend Aiyuk.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on \u201cThe Rich Eisen Show\u201d, Steelers reporter Gerry Dulac of the\u00a0Pittsburgh Post-Gazette<\/em>\u00a0provided an update on the team\u2019s trade negotiations with Brandon Aiyul.<\/p>\n

According to Dulac, the Steelers are simply waiting to see how things play out with Aiyuk and the 49ers. Dulac also revealed that the Steelers\u2019 trade offer for the All-Pro wideout is surprisingly minimal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Steelers, I was told, were not going to offer any players in a trade\u2026.they\u2019re not about to budge. They were going to offer draft picks, a number two (draft pick), and then something else. \u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
