It\u2019s been a mixed bag for Noah Lyles this year. Having won gold in the men\u2019s 100m sprint at the Olympics, he\u2019s come under a lot of criticism for using COVID-19 as an excuse after placing third in the 200m.<\/p>\n

As expected, he\u2019s also been heavily criticized by\u00a0NBA<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0players after Team USA won the men\u2019s basketball tournament at the games.<\/p>\n

Lyles isn\u2019t the only one taking heat from all over, as his girlfriend, Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield, has also been dealing with trolls.<\/p>\n

The American speedster recently took to Instagram to\u00a0share a heartwarming post<\/a>\u00a0about his other half.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF and give her the flowers she deserves now,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he wrote.\u00a0\u201cShe has been through so much in her life that I could never imagine fighting through. Beyond that, she is a survivor, 2x Olympian, Olympic medalists, Multi world championship medalist, and has been representing Jamaica on the world stage since she was 8 years old.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBut the most impressive thing I\u2019ve seen recently is how she\u2019s dealt with the pure disrespect and hatred towards her from her own country.<\/em><\/p>\n

Jamaicans Did Not Appreciate Noah Lyles\u2019 Comments<\/h2>\n

Junelle Bromfield appreciated Noah Lyles\u2019s support and thanked him in the comments; however, Jamaicans were not happy with the post and had lots of criticism for him.<\/p>\n
