The 32-year-old son of\u00a0Hollywood<\/a>\u00a0movie director and actor\u00a0Rob Reiner<\/a>\u00a0has been charged with two counts of first-degree\u00a0murder<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rob and his wife of three decades, Michele Singer Reiner,\u00a0were found dead\u00a0<\/a>in their Brentwood,\u00a0LA<\/a>, homes on December 14 in an incident\u00a0cops<\/a>\u00a0declared an apparent ‘homicide’.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office says the couple, who shared three\u00a0children<\/a>, were fatally stabbed, while the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office lists their cause of death as ‘multiple sharp force injuries’.<\/p>\n Their youngest child, daughter Romy, 28, reportedly found the pair in their $13.5m mansion before making the desperate calls to emergency services.<\/p>\n Reiner has since\u00a0hired high-profile celebrity attorney Alan Jackson<\/a>\u00a0to represent him, and a lawyer has addressed whether the 32-year-old would be eligible to inherit any of his parents’\u00a0money<\/a>\u00a0or use it to pay\u00a0legal fees.<\/p>\n Nick Reiner has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in suspicion of his parents’ deaths (Laura Cavanaugh\/FilmMagic)<\/cite><\/div>\n The Reiner’s estate is estimated to be $200 million, according\u00a0to<\/a>\u00a0Hello!
