Authorities recovered their bodies on the outskirts of Reynosa, a border city plagued by drug cartel violence.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\" style=\"margin: 8px 0; clear: both;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1761912\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-10\">\n<div id=\"anchorslot\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\"><\/div>\n<p>The five victims\u2014Francisco Javier V\u00e1zquez, Nemesio Antonio Dur\u00e1n, band manager Livan Sol\u00eds de la Rosa, V\u00edctor Manuel Garza, and Jos\u00e9 Francisco Morales\u2014were between the ages of 20 and 40.<\/p>\n<p>Grupo Fugitivo often played at local parties and dances. A post made to the band\u2019s Facebook page Sunday (May 25) indicated they were headed to McAllen, Texas. Surveillance footage confirms the men arrived at a palapa bar in the Rancho Grande neighborhood of Reynoso. However, no footage shows them leaving the establishment.
