Brian Glenn, Chief White House Correspondent for the\u00a0Trump-supporting<\/a>\u00a0Real America’s Voice channel, has remained staunchly behind his partner of two years since her relationship with the president seemingly imploded and joined\u00a0Greene’s<\/a>\u00a0daughter in praising the two-term representative.<\/p>\n In her resignation statement<\/a>, Greene championed her record on Republican issues like gun rights and abortion, while also expressing disillusionment with the current party leadership. But it appears\u00a0Trump’s withdrawal of support<\/a>\u00a0triggered her decision to leave frontline\u00a0politics<\/a>.<\/p>\n “I have too much self respect and dignity, love my family way too much, and do not want my sweet district to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the president we all fought for, only to fight and win my election while Republicans will likely lose the midterms,” she said.<\/p>\n Brian Glenn has backed his partner Marjorie Taylor Greene (Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Without the backing of the man whose politics catapulted her to the pinnacle of\u00a0American<\/a>\u00a0life, Greene announced that she would be stepping down from Congress on January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n Sharing her 10-minute resignation statement, Glenn praised the 51-year-old Georgia congresswoman’s resolve on X, stating: “You never allowed the political industrial complex to break you.
