Donald Trump<\/a>‘s loyal supporters have invented a fresh conspiracy theory after the president told a female reporter to be ‘quiet, piggy’ for asking about the release of the Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> files.<\/p>\n

A White House<\/a> official defended the President’s insult and said: ‘This reporter behaved in an inappropriate and unprofessional way towards her colleagues on the plane. If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take.’<\/p>\n

Last Friday Bloomberg’s Catherine Lucey had asked Trump a question relating to Epstein before the President began waving a finger in her face on board Air Force One.<\/p>\n

‘Quiet, quiet piggy!’ Trump snapped at the journalist while she stood off camera.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite clear audio and video of Trump pointing at the reporter and calling her a pig, MAGA loyalists online are claiming that his words were twisted by the\u00a0Democrats<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump’s supporters on X believe Trump was not speaking to Lucey at all, but instead was referring to Bloomberg’s Washington\u00a0DC<\/a> bureau chief Peggy Collins – even though she wasn’t on the jet.<\/p>\n

X user Michael Raczkowskion wrote, ‘Trump said ‘PEGGY’. Referring to the woman named ‘Peggy’ that interrupted. Are Democrats so desperate now that all you have is lies?’<\/p>\n

Other Trump supporters pointed to a post written by X’s AI bot Grok that said, ‘Audio analysis and press pool records confirm Trump said “Quiet, Peggy” to Bloomberg’s DC bureau chief Peggy Collins, who routinely travels on Air Force One and interrupted amid the Epstein query.’<\/p>\n

MAGA supporters pointed to a post by Grok that falsely claims Trump was referring to Bloomberg DC bureau chief Peggy Collins<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The AI bot added, ‘Catherine Lucey posed the initial question, but the rebuke targeted Collins’s outburst.’<\/p>\n

But the White House has already admitted that the President was referring to Lucey and did not deny he used the word ‘piggy.’<\/p>\n

Grok later issued a follow-up post on X correcting the outlandish claim by stating, ‘My earlier reply mistook the reporter for Peggy Collins based on ambiguous audio and hasty name association<\/a>, but verified footage and multiple independent transcripts confirm Trump addressed Catherine Lucey, saying “quiet, piggy” amid Epstein questions. No Peggy was present or targeted.’<\/p>\n

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also again defended Trump’s insult toward female reporter during a Thursday press briefing.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump’s outburst at the Bloomberg reporter last week came amid growing pressure from members of his own party to sign legislation mandating<\/a> the Justice Department to release all investigative files on Epstein.<\/p>\n
