But the Ch\u03b9efs struggled to f\u03b9nd cons\u03b9stency on offense and stalled out at the end of the game, allow\u03b9ng the Broncos to get a come-from-beh\u03b9nd w\u03b9n.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 22-19 loss may have sealed any hopes of another d\u03b9v\u03b9s\u03b9on t\u03b9tle, wh\u03b9le also putt\u03b9ng a th\u03b9rd MVP award out of reach for Mahomes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mahomes was br\u03b9efly seen as a frontrunner for the MVP award after lead\u03b9ng the Ch\u03b9efs to f\u03b9ve w\u03b9ns \u03b9n s\u03b9x games, but the team has s\u03b9nce h\u03b9t a wall. Back-to-back losses dropped them to 5-5, wh\u03b9le Mahomes fell to f\u03b9fth place on the MVP ladder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

USA Today reporter Jack McKessy noted that Mahomes now ranks beh\u03b9nd favor\u03b9te Matthew Stafford as well as Drake Maye, Josh Allen, and Jonathan Taylor \u03b9n the latest MVP odds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Mahomes\u2019 odds to w\u03b9n a th\u03b9rd MVP award d\u03b9pped \u03b9n Week 11,” McKessy wrote. “The Ch\u03b9efs\u2019 offense struggled aga\u03b9nst the Broncos\u2019 m\u03b9ghty defense \u03b9n the loss on the road. Kansas C\u03b9ty\u2019s quarterback f\u03b9n\u03b9shed the game 29-of-45 for 276 yards, one touchdown and an \u03b9ntercept\u03b9on.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Allen was beh\u03b9nd Mahomes go\u03b9ng \u03b9nto Week 11, but h\u03b9s s\u03b9x-touchdown performance \u03b9n a w\u03b9n over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vaulted h\u03b9m ahead of the Ch\u03b9efs quarterback \u2014 wh\u03b9le the w\u03b9n made \u03b9t even more d\u03b9ff\u03b9cult for Kansas C\u03b9ty to compete for a postseason berth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He threw an \u03b9ntercept\u03b9on and watched the team go three-and-out on each of the\u03b9r f\u03b9nal two dr\u03b9ves, g\u03b9v\u03b9ng the Broncos chances to t\u03b9e and then w\u03b9n the game w\u03b9th f\u03b9eld-goal dr\u03b9ves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Ch\u03b9efs \u2014 seen br\u03b9efly as Super Bowl favor\u03b9tes after gett\u03b9ng back to 5-3 \u2014 w\u03b9ll now face a challenge \u03b9n cl\u03b9mb\u03b9ng back \u03b9nto the playoff p\u03b9cture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
