The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Buffalo Bills<\/span>\u00a0have a rivalry that\u2019s one of the hottest in the NFL. During the\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Josh Allen<\/span>\u00a0era, the Chiefs have won five games and the Bills have one four, so it\u2019s a close rivalry, too.<\/p>\n When the Bills host the Chiefs on Sunday, November 2, it will mark the 10th contest between Buffalo and Kansas City since the 2020 season, including playoffs. Their most recent matchup was a\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs 32-29<\/span>\u00a0home win in the AFC Championship game last season, during the Chiefs\u2019 road to the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n So, there\u2019s plenty of history surrounding this Chiefs and Bills rivalry. But, the Mahomes and Allen rivalry may be of even more interest than just seeing these franchises going up against each other once again.<\/p>\n \n Mahomes has won the Chiefs three Super Bowl titles, and Allen is still title-less. But, Allen is the reigning MVP. His\u00a0statistics speak<\/span>\u00a0for themselves. Allen has\u00a0notched 24 total touchdowns<\/span>\u00a0against\u00a0four interceptions in the past nine contests<\/span>\u00a0averaging 255.6 passing yards. For Mahomes, it\u2019s\u00a022 scores<\/span>,\u00a0seven picks and 273.9 passing yards<\/span>\u00a0per game.<\/p>\n The Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0took to social media<\/span>\u00a0on Thursday, October 30, to\u00a0hype up this rivalry<\/span>. \u201cA matchup you never want to miss,\u201d they stated with a gallery of photos of Mahomes and Allen.<\/p>\n \n <\/p>\n Ahead if the game,\u00a0Mahomes talked about the excitement<\/span>\u00a0surrounding the Chiefs having to take on the Bills on the road.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s cool whenever you step on that football field and everybody\u2019s against you, and you know you just have your brothers behind you,\u201d he said. \u201cIt takes everybody, and I think it\u2019s just been special that we\u2019ve been able to do that, play these road games and win these games.\u201d<\/p>\n Allen discussed<\/span>\u00a0how even though there are plenty of memories from past Bills and Chiefs matchups, each meeting is an opportunity for new memories. \u201cEvery game is different; every year is different. Everything presents itself in a different way,\u201d Allen said. \u201cNothing that happened last year, the year before or the year before that carries over or matters this week.\u201d<\/p>\n \n NFL<\/span>\u00a0experts and analysts agree that this is going to be a close game. The spread is Buffalo Bills (-2.5).<\/p>\n Jon Hoefling of USA Today<\/span>\u00a0has the Kansas City Chiefs taking it by a hair. \u201cIt\u2019s easy to look at Buffalo\u2019s huge win over Carolina and think they\u2019re back to elite territory. I\u2019ve still got my doubts,\u201d he says. \u201cThe Bills were able to crowd the box all day against\u00a0Andy Dalton<\/span>. They won\u2019t have that luxury against Patrick Mahomes. This weekend, the Bills\u2019 atrocious run defense should once again rear its ugly head.\u201d<\/p>\n \n Jordan Mendoza of USA Today has the Buffalo Bills winning by a touch. \u201cThe matchup that always delivers,\u201d he says. \u201cKansas City has been red-hot but\u00a0Josh Allen<\/span>\u00a0and the Bills are just as good. You could go either way, but expect can incredible atmosphere in Buffalo.\u201d<\/p>\n Christopher Bumbaca of the outlet<\/span>\u00a0goes with the Chiefs. \u201cThe Chiefs simply have a better roster than the Bills, and this game should bear that out.
