Travis Kelce and the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/span>\u00a0couldn’t get it done in Week 9, dropping to 5-4 on the 2025 NFL season after a 28-21 loss on the road against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Kansas City ultimately settled for a field goal after Mahomes\u2019 pass to Kelce in the end zone fell incomplete on 3rd-and-goal. The tight end, however, took the worst of the play, absorbing a hard hit to the chest from Bills safety Cole Bishop.<\/p>\n Kelce left the field with three seconds remaining in the first half, heading to the locker room ahead of his teammates as fans grew concerned about a possible injury, particularly to his ribs. While no chest injury was reported, Kelce was evaluated for a possible concussion.
