New York Giants<\/a>\u00a0cornerback Cor\u2019Dale Flott was the victim of friendly fire while playing the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday and was ruled out of the game heading into halftime after taking a punch from his own teammate, Bobby Okereke.<\/p>\n Flott has entered concussion protocol on what has been a horrible day for the Giants, who had already lost rookie running back Cam Skattebo to a gruesome injury that\u00a0expected to keep him out for the rest of the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n The NY teammates were covering Eagles wide receiver\u00a0DeVonta Smith<\/a>\u00a0on a pass late in the second quarter and would collide with each other while the WR escaped with the catch.<\/p>\n Slow-mo footage showed Okereke accidentally punching his teammate in the head and knocking him out cold, apparently in an attempt to knock the ball out of Smith\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n \u201cBobby Okereke punching TF out of his own teammate\ud83e\udd26\u200d\u2642\ufe0f,\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0one fan observed.<\/p>\n
