The\u00a0New York Giants<\/a>\u2019 running back Cam Skattebo left Sunday\u2019s game against the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0with a gruesome leg injury that will most certainly end his season.<\/p>\n He was carted off the field with an air cast on his left leg. Footage from the game showed that the rookie appeared to break a bone in his lower leg and will almost certainly miss substantial time as a result.<\/p>\n The injury occurred as Skattebo tried to make a catch over the middle of the field from Jaxson Dart.<\/p>\n Skattebo\u2019s legs got caught underneath him as an Eagles\u2019 defender tackled him. When he came up, his right leg appeared to be facing the wrong direction.<\/p>\n As soon as he realized that his ankle was turned the wrong way, Cam Skattebo asked for his teammates\u2019 help before grabbing his head.<\/p>\n
