It’s been over three years since her divorce from Kanye West was finalised, but still, Kim Kardashian is paying the physical price of the high-stakes split.<\/p>\n

In the latest episode of The Kardashians<\/em><\/a> from its seventh season, <\/em>the mother-of-four<\/a> broke the news that she’d suffered a major blow to her health<\/a>, which had reportedly been triggered by personal stress.<\/p>\n

For those in need of a reminder, Kardashian<\/a>, 45, filed for divorce from the controversial rap star<\/a> in 2021, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ at the time. The year prior, West’s<\/a> behaviour in public had begun causing concern following a diagnosis of bipolar in 2016.<\/p>\n

As well as launching a far-right<\/a> presidential campaign, the musician<\/a>, 48, began making erratic and often offensive remarks in the open – largely online.<\/p>\n

The ‘Stronger’ star also made damning accusations against both his wife and her family on social media.<\/p>\n

The star’s mental health<\/a> struggles, unpredictable behaviour and public controversies have meant that his relationship with now-ex Kardashian has remained strained ever since their split, with the reality TV<\/a> star recently opening up about his relationship – or, lack thereof – with his children.<\/a><\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Kardashian, West’s public breakdown has also had a very real impact on her health, with the SKIMS boss revealing in a teaser for the upcoming season of her Hulu series that she’d recently suffered an ‘aneurysm’.<\/p>\n

In the trailer, she is seen going into an MRI scanner, later telling her famous family: “There was a little aneurysm.”<\/p>\n

Her visibly horrified big sister Kourtney<\/a> is then seen exclaiming, ‘Woah!’, after which Kardashian explains: “They were like, ‘Just stress’.”<\/p>\n

The camera then cuts to footage of Kardashian crying over her recent law exam, before cutting to a 1-1 interview with her as she discusses her divorce.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m happy it\u2019s over,” she tells viewers. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”<\/p>\n

According<\/a> to the NHS<\/a>, an aneurysm occurs in the brain when a blood vessel in this area begins to swell up. In severe causes, if this aneurysm bursts, a bleed on the brain can be triggered.<\/p>\n

Explaining the impact of situational stress, one social media explained: “Stress triggers the release of hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, which raise blood pressure.<\/p>\n

“This increased pressure can weaken the walls of blood vessels, making them more susceptible to aneurysms.”<\/p>\n

Another emphasised the importance of celebs putting their mental wellbeing first, given the high-pressure nature of their job, adding: “People see the glam, the businesses, the fame, but this kind of thing is a reminder that stress can seriously affect anyone, no matter how strong or successful they look.<\/p>\n

“Hopefully she\u2019s okay now and taking care of herself, because that kind of health scare changes your whole perspective on life.”<\/p>\n

A third also noted: “It\u2019s wild how often we underestimate the physical side effects of emotional stress a reminder to slow down and take care of yourself.”<\/p>\n

Several long-term followers of the show also commended Kim, for both leaving a relationship that proved detrimental to her health, and shedding light on the physical affects of mental turmoil.<\/p>\n

“Kim surviving kanye is her biggest flex yet,” one fan gushed.<\/p>\n

Another added: “Kim out here dropping bombshells again\u2026 stress from a divorce nearly taking her out? Reality TV just got way too real.”<\/p>\n

And a third went on: “I hope she feels better.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
