Melania Trump has not made too many public outings during her second term as First Lady of the United States. A few weeks ago, she and Donald visited the NAvy where the former model made a speech, which went viral. Now, Melania is once again in the spotlight, however, it\u2019s not \u201cher.\u201d Instead, she is being mocked on Stephen Colbert\u2019s late night show.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Melania Trump promised that her seconr term as First LAdy of the United States would be different than the first, and that, she has kept. The Slovenian-born model has kept a low profile since returning to the White House with Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

But just a few weeks ago, she made a rare public appearance and held a speech. Donald and Melania Trump at an event at the Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia to celebrate 250 years of the Navy.<\/p>\n

The First Lady of the United States rocked somehwat of a \u2018Top Gun\u2019 style with a brown bomber jacket, but as she began her speech, people had some opinions as to how she greeted the navy audience members.<\/p>\n

\u201cHooyah, Navy,\u201d Melania said<\/a>, but the response was likely not what she had expected. While applause followed, an awkward pause soon appeared in the crowd.<\/p>\n

While some praised Melania Trump for her greeting, others weren\u2019t convinced. On social media, many users made their opinions clear on Melania\u2019s \u201cHooyah.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease make it stop,\u201d one X user wrote.<\/p>\n

The First Lady has since then been seen in public once, but on Tuesday, she returned to the spotlight once again. Or well it wasn\u2019t her<\/em>, but someone portraying her, and fans are divide.d<\/p>\n

On Monday night, Laura Benanti appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em> where she impersinated Melania. She mocked Melania\u2019s appearance in front of the navy a few weeks ago by yelling \u201chooyah,\u201d with Colbert explaining that it wasn\u2019t \u2018appropriate\u2019 in this setting.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, no Stephen. \u2018Who-ya\u2019 think is excited to be here instead of on a double date with JD Vance?\u201d Benanti, impersinating Melania, said. \u201cGive you a hint: she\u2019s got two thumbs and an ironclad prenup.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colbert continued to ask questions about the Navy speech. Later, the Melania character cotninued on talking about her husband\u2019s manhood when asked about how her second term as First Lady has been.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, it is such an honor. I cannot wait to change my name to Melania Kennedy,\u201d the fake Melania responded.<\/p>\n

Stephen Colbert added, \u201cThe opera house would have your name,\u201d to which she repsonded, \u201cOh, that works too, because I can do this \u2014 \u201d as she performed an operatic vocal example.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow. Holy cow, I did not realize you were a trained opera singer,\u201d Colbert stated.<\/p>\n

Faux Melania said, \u201cOh no, that\u2019s just the sound I make when Eric calls me \u2018Mommy,.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen Colbert continued, \u201cNow, ma\u2019am, your husband was also absent from view for a period this summer, possibly due to health issues. And I understand that he\u2019s been diagnosed with something called chronic venous insufficiency.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, sadly, it\u2019s true. He has a very small venous,\u201d Laura Benanti, appearing as Melania Trump said.<\/p>\n

Per Express<\/a>, fans of the show were in hysterics.<\/p>\n

\u201cI needed this laugh, thank you both and Stephen Colbert you are still the best!!!\u201d one person said.<\/p>\n

Another added, \u201cI like this Melania better,\u201d and a third stated, \u201cSeriously the greatest impression, hands down!\u201d<\/p>\n
