However, not everyone thinks like that. One mother, Lucy Alexandra, a content creator, stressed the importance of letting a child \u201cbe free\u201d from their parents \u2013 and why she therefore leaves her son to go to a nightclub.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Single-mother Lucy Alexandra from England has left social media users hugely divided. On social media, she has shared a clip on TikTok that has received many reactions because it involves her child.<\/p>\n

In the clip, as reported by The Sun<\/a>, Lucy explained that she \u201cidolizes\u201d her son, whose age is not disclosed, but that sometimes, she \u201cneeds a break\u201d from him.<\/p>\n

Sitting in her car, Lucy has hit back at mothers who claim to be struggling to be away from their child for just one single night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what\u2019s wrong with a lot of s**t in this day and age \u2013 people are obsessed with their children, fully f*****g obsessed and it\u2019s too much,\u201d the single mother said.<\/p>\n

She said that it\u2019s important to let a child \u201cbe free\u201d from their parents for a night, as she said it will do them \u201cthe world of good.\u201d Still, she admits that everyone has different opinions about it.<\/p>\n

Lucy claimed she is \u201cblessed\u201d and \u201ccan\u2019t wait\u201d to spend time on her own, preferably at a nightclub drinking, she says. At the time of posting the clip on TikTok, she said she was so \u201cexcited\u201d for a Saturday out with friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to not have to do bedtime, I can\u2019t wait to get up whenever the f**k I want, I can\u2019t wait to watch my own s**t on TV, what I want to watch for a change,\u201d the content creator shared, adding that she \u201cwon\u2019t\u201d be considering a specific time to get back home to her son when at the club.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Lucy added,, \u201cWhoever\u2019s having him can have him for the day after as well, so I can do whatever the f**k I want on the Sunday too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The content creator and single mother from West Yorkshire, UK, admitted that people have called her a \u201csh*t mum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Call me what you want \u2013 my kid, I idolise him, he\u2019s my absolute world. Di I need a break sometimes? Absolutely, I do,\u201d she continued, claiming that it\u2019s \u201cnot healthy\u201d to \u201cobsess over children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lucy Alexandra acknowledged that she would \u201cget sh*t\u201d in comments from \u201call you TikTok mums that can\u2019t bear to be away\u201d from their kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a single mum, so do I wanna go out on a weekend and have a bit of fun? Yeah, by that I mean let my hair down and have a few drinks.\u201d<\/p>\n

So what do mums in the comments think? It\u2019s divided, and Lucy\u2019s clip gained more than 36.000 views in two days. While many agreed with her, others didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Per The Sun<\/a>, one mum wrote: \u201cI look forward to a night to myself and getting a lie in,\u201d while another added, \u201chaving a break is well and truly needed.\u201d<\/p>\n

A person not agreeing with Lucy wrote, \u201cImagine waiting years to conceive and then you finally get a miracle baby and you\u2019re not allowed to be obsessed with them\u2026 I respect your views and decisions and you should respect ours.\u201d<\/p>\n
