After a knee injury kept him out of nearly all of last season\u2019s games \u2014 and an NFL suspension kept him out of the first six of this season \u2014 the third-year wideout will make his 2025 debut against his team\u2019s longtime rivals.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s game will mark his first action in more than a year.And Rice couldn\u2019t be happier for the opportunity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis week is really big,\u201d he told reporters on Friday. \u201cIt\u2019s been a while since I got to play in a regular-season game with my guys, so I\u2019m very excited to be out there and compete.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rice didn\u2019t want to dwell on the suspension that kept him off the field, preferring to speak about how he stayed in shape during the opening weeks of the season: mimicking the grind of the team\u2019s training camp in St. Joseph.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went down to Florida \u2014 where it\u2019s hot \u2014 trying to keep myself in the heat similar to St. Joe,\u201d he revealed. \u201cJust training every day \u2014 Monday through Friday \u2014 and [doing] some type of workout on Sunday to have my mind ready to get active on game day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
