Things got heated at the end of the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>–Detroit Lions<\/a>\u00a0\u201cSunday Night Football\u201d game after Patrick Mahomes took a knee on the game\u2019s final play.<\/p>\n

In one of the most highly anticipated games of the regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs cruised to a 30-17 victory over\u00a0Jared Goff<\/a>\u2019s Detroit Lions, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.<\/p>\n

NBC Sports commentators Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth were casually talking on the air after the game, only to announce that a brawl had broken out. X\/Twitter user @ZachIsHere, who was at the game, posted a video of the incident after it unfolded.<\/p>\n

As you can see, it started when Brian Branch threw a punch at Chiefs wide receiver\u00a0JuJu Smith-Schuster<\/a>. Things quickly escalated from there, with Mahomes ending up at the bottom of the pile as players on both sides scrambled to break it up:<\/p>\n
