The backlash against the\u00a0NFL\u2019s selection of Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime<\/a>\u00a0performance is only going to get bigger after his recent comments.<\/p>\n

The Puerto Rican rapper is already a global phenomenon, but not many fans in America were thrilled to find out about his selection.<\/p>\n

Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick criticized the idea<\/a>\u00a0of having him perform on stage in Levi\u2019s Stadium as she spoke about his Spanish-speaking.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh fun,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>the former race car driver turned analyst said on X.\u00a0\u201cNo songs in English should not be allowed at one of America\u2019s highest rated television events of the year \u2026 not just for sports.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, he has clapped back at the fans who have issues with it.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican native, whose real name is Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio, said he was \u201cexcited\u201d to be named the headlining act.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to be doing the Super Bowl, I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy,\u201d Bad Bunny said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He would then break into speaking Spanish for a message before addressing his critics.<\/p>\n

Bad Bunny then buried his detractors by telling them they needed to study the language to enjoy the upcoming performance.<\/p>\n
