The\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/a>\u00a0might be the first team in\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0history to receive a flag for something the refs assumed they would do before they actually did it.<\/p>\n In the first quarter game against the\u00a0Minnesota Vikings<\/a>\u00a0in London, the Browns had just gotten to the line of scrimmage for a play against the Vikings.<\/p>\n It was second-and-6, and only 29 seconds had been played so far in the game.<\/p>\n Somehow, the flag graphic was already on the screen, but the play was not stopped before the ball was hiked.<\/p>\n Quarterback\u00a0Dillon Gabriel<\/a>,\u00a0who is starting his first game after Joe Flacco was benched<\/a>, handed the ball for a short gain that made the third down more manageable.<\/p>\n The score would come back up on the screen with no flag graphic, but two seconds later, it reappeared out of nowhere.<\/p>\n
